  I was a team member in the development of a new Land Titles Act & Regulations, allowing land to be registered with the Land Titles Office in a manner that preserves aboriginal title (previously, registration with the LTO did not allow for the preservation of aboriginal title). My work involved cross-jurisdictional legal research, both within Canada and beyond, to support this important legal development.

  I assisted with the development of Engineers and Geoscientists BC's forthcoming Climate Change Action Plan (which will set out an approach to addressing climate change issues related to the practice of professional engineering and geoscience). This Action Plan is among the first of its kind in which a regulatory and licensing body aims to provide support targeting climate change issues relating to engineering and geoscience.I took part in focus groups and interviews with professional engineers and geoscientists across a range of disciplines, compiling feedback into a comprehensive What We Heard Report to guide the formulation of the Climate Change Action Plan.
