Jan 2006 - Jan 2013I started here as Manager Trainee when it was still ACS State Healthcare. My first manager position introduced me to Medicaid operations. I managed the Florida Medicaid Recipient Services Department. I did so well in this role and developed an in-depth understanding of Medicaid that I was quickly promoted to claims operations manager on the Florida Medicaid Account. This is where I cut my teeth in Medicaid claims operations. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS◆ In this role, I was overseeing prescription delivery services for three states spanning the Pharmacy Prior Authorization Call Center, Smart PA Rules Management and Lock-In. I also oversaw the RFP capture teams on proposal writing, costs and pricing as well preparation of client presentations. Senior leadership requested that I work on the RFP for Medi-Cal, a project valued at $1.5 billion to the company.
