  I joined Grant Thornton for two consecutive years under summer internship program at Audit department where I had the opportunity to get valuable experience. During my internship here I had to go through different tasks as well as to follow some induction courses along with training. Additionally, I had the chance to attend a conference meeting with my supervisor’s team auditing a big client. It helped me gain an overall idea of the real accountant’s job; the difficulties they might face due to limited of time and how they can tackle these issues. Also, during my internship we had to prepare individually a presentation for a specific theme assigned by the HR department where I got an excellent feedback. This job has taught me the punctuality required for an employer and the employee cooperation to be successful and efficient. It helped me develop my skills such as cooperation, teamwork and analytical skills and become more aware of the accountants’ job, environment and the challenges accountants have to face. Show less
