  Dance, Music, and Parkinson’s StudyThe study aimed to investigate how Parkinson’s affects brain activity and movement when watching and participating in dance.- Tested the camera setup for recording the study at University of Toronto.- Assisted participants with a pre-study assessment over Zoom and during the study at McMaster.- Conducted and filmed interviews of participants and their family members for a short documentary-style video, aiming to bring awareness to the therapeutic use of music and dance for Parkinson's.   Jan 2023 - April 2023 ; Jan 2024 - April 2024- Conducting an eye tracking study where participants learn an ‘eye dance’ (a sequence of eye movements to music).- Long-term goal of the study is to use the data to support a smartphone app that Parkinson’s patients can use to improve their motor function (activating brain pathways related to motor skills).- Completing an individual research project where I film the live-feed of participants’ eye tracking to later create a collage of the participants’ various trials over the span of the study.
