      • Assigned to devise methods for changing training to meet new and upcoming wartime environments based on ever changing tactics of enemy combatant’s particularly Islamic terrorists.• Developed new techniques for over–the-beach without the underwater diving thereby enabling team members to carry more gear needed for the missions.• Pioneered new techniques for Visit, Board, and Seizure (VBSS) for moving from land to water without coming in at the harbor mouth achieving less of a signature so as not to be seen or heard by the enemy.• Instructed and remained within or under budget for all maritime training while adding the Seal Delivery Vehicle, an underwater conveyance for 2-men SEAL teams, to the tactical inventory. • Prepared superior, realistic, combat-related scenarios designed for SEAL Team exercises at the end of each dive, over-the-beach, VBSS and special boat operations training. • Worked with training budgets of up to $10 million with partner nation and Coalition forces. Zobrazit méně • Assigned as Task Unit Senior Supervisor for SEAL Teams 2 and 4 as one of the only senior Chief’s to run two units at different commands.• Developed and supervised all periods of instruction provided to over 200 soldiers from the UAE Presidential Guard that facilitated partnered training including: small unit infantry operations, urban operations, and concluded in a platoon live fire attack.• Deployed on three combat deployments during 2003-2009 in charge of 85 SEAL personnel for three 7-month deployments to Afghanistan.• Changed the helicopter deployment and the time of day resulting in the capture or killing of several high value targets one of whom was the highest ranking Taliban leader in the southern district. • Selected for a special mission to assist another government agency in Iraq for 7 months assisting with interrogations, improving intelligence, and organizing the detention center to get faster and better intelligence out to the operating forces for missions.• Assigned as Senior Supervisor for exercises and operations in the Horn of Africa operating out the French base at Camp Lemonier, Djibouti in the African area of operations for 6 months. • Designed the game plan using a spreadsheet to show movement of all personnel, equipment, and manning at 9 different locations within the area of operations which saved man hours and money.       • Built a 5-year $20 million manpower budget for future SEAL Teams deploying to the Horn of Africa AOR. • Supervised and managed the deployment and redeployment of 200 personnel to 9 different locations around the African Command (AFRICOM) Theater twice a year with 100% success in all evolutions. • Devised new standard operating procedures for training instructions and the use of ranges and also built an Excel spreadsheet for logistics movement showing all personnel, equipment and locations to deploy. • Selected as Security Supervisor and liaison with the Secret Service and White House to set up security for a President of the United States three stop visit to Africa. Budgeted $3 million, arranged buses, military flights and security details for each location and was able to cancel planned boat security mission around an island in vicinity of one of the locations due to high waves.
