Including an applied remote sensing class dealing with a wide variety of remote sensing issues including classifying landscape and using vegetation indexes and working with Landsat, MODIS, Sentinel, and other sources of imagery.

      Gunner for the Stryker Infantry Carrier Vehicle. Responsible for the day to day maintenance, upkeep, and overall accountability for the vehicle and assigned weapon system. Also trained unit personnel on the capabilities, maintenance, and usage of the vehicle. Supervised daily operations of a team (~11 personnel), including training, administrative work, safety, and accountability of personnel and highly sensitive equipment. Organized and supervised many Company-level training events Instructed students in Army slingload, air assault, and rappelling operations. Identification and characteristics of military helicopters. Army slingload operations using multiple types of slingload equipment and prepping vehicles and other equipment for transport such as HMMWV's, fuel blivets, the A-22 Cargo Bag, and others. Oversaw the training and administration of an Infantry team. Responsible for the welfare of all team members as well as the daily training regimen which included MOUT, Squad Attack/Platoon Attack, and React to Contact training. M249 SAW gunner. Responsibilities included maintenance and qualification on assigned weapon and training in its use.
