  During my internship at AIQuantum Smart Solutions Private Limited, I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project centered around developing a smaller variant of the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) model. The main focus of our work was conducting research and engaging in development activities. Throughout the project duration, I gained valuable insights into the process of building large language models and their versatile applications in various contexts.Primarily, our team successfully created a compact version of the GPT model, which we named "Mini GPT." This involved adapting and optimizing the model's architecture to make it more efficient and less resource-intensive. Our goal was to achieve comparable performance and functionality to the original GPT model while reducing its size and computational demands.Throughout the project, I acquired in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of large language models, including their training methodologies, underlying algorithms, and techniques for enhancing efficiency. Additionally, I gained practical experience in training and fine-tuning these models to cater to specific tasks or domains.Overall, my internship at AIQuantum Smart Solutions proved to be an invaluable learning experience. It provided me with a profound understanding of large language models and their practical applications in real-world scenarios. The process of building and training Mini GPT not only expanded my technical skills but also deepened my knowledge of the broader field of artificial intelligence and its potential to address complex problems.
