Responsible for the implementation, co-ordination, and delivery of the education and sport programmes, run as part of the Leicester Tigers Foundation, and delivered to young people from the ages of 4-18. These initiatives include Premiership Rugby programmes such as ‘On the Front Foot’, ‘Tackling Numbers’ and ‘Something to Chew On’, as well as Leicester Tigers initiatives such as ‘Concrete Rugby’, 'Tiger Tots', and 'Inside Sport’. I am responsible for creating and developing the delivery content for programmes and ensuring delivery standards are maintained. I worked with Premiership Rugby to aid in the creation and design of their highly successful, PSHE-based programme, ‘On the Front Foot'. I recruit and directly manage a number of members of staff; organising their delivery timetables, ensuring KPIs and targets are met, and carrying out performance reviews and CPD sessions. I am required to work alongside, and manage relationships with, a variety of organisations and agencies, including the sport’s governing bodies, schools, qualification providers, and sponsors. My role also has a significant sports-development focus, through me leading on our ‘Project Rugby’ delivery. This work, funded by the RFU, aims to increase participation in rugby amongst ethnic minority groups, low socio-economic groups and people with disabilities and learning difficulties. I have successfully developed partnerships with local sports clubs, local authorities, youth groups and disability organisations to arrange bespoke programmes of delivery, for young people aged 14-24.
