During my 4 months internship with the Community Policing Unit of the RCMP, my duty was to help by building reports (research/statistics) for them on certain criminal problematics (topics) in our City and Nation wide.

  As a Community Safety Officer, my duty was to provide a patrolling presence in our community by seeking to reduce crime or anti-social behavior. I was working with clients and authorities to give assistance and help in order to create a safer, more pleasant living environment.

  - Creating Business Cases.- Budget analysis.- Cooperate with internal (Procurement) and external (Vendors) stakeholders.- Deal with a large variety of short lived projects (contracts, data analysis, purchases over 10k) from all across the Province within the RCMP and efficient in meeting specific deadlines.- Collect all necessary data and submit quarterly reports to the Province.- Compile all the Action Items and Record of Decisions from our big Decision Makers and make sure the Commanding Officer signs off on them before processing. - Create a master tracking spreadsheet to ensure all the Record of Decisions from HR and Finance Committee are stored. This spreadsheet is often being used to check back on what requests have been approved in the past. Show less
