These individuals not only allowed me room for career growth within the company but the positions I carried to grow with me. This gave me my first insight of effective high involvement management practices. This structure proved to be very beneficial as the company experienced unprecedented growth.Oversaw and maintained daily operations (Staffing, Hiring, Scheduling, Inventory Management, Safety, Sales Leads, Etc.). Managed 35+ employees in a large-scale catering / conference facility. -Helped achieve the property’s first IACC Gold Tier and Green Star Award in 2011. (Property is now 1 of 4 locations in the world to achieve the IACC Platinum Tier Award for conference / catering standards.) -Earned recognition from the company by being awarded The Employee of the Year Award in 2011. -Tactically introduced strategies to increase beverage sales by 20%, decrease operating costs by 10%, and condensed labor costs by 5%. -Omitted communication errors by developing a mobile interface between the clients and all managerial staff, which resulted in the team winning the Pinnacle Award from the International Association of Conference Centers and acceptance into the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International. -Routinely managed events for people such as The Arizona Board of Regents, Mayor of Flagstaff, President of NAU, Governor of Arizona, local booster clubs, and many more high-profile guests.
