Construction Education (ConEd) at Procore was founded to help Procore better understand How Construction Works and How Procore helps. Through our programming we aim to improve Procore’s construction literacy, build empathy for our clients and improve Procore’s Product. Though the ConEd team was founded to serve our internal learners, we have been sought out by the industry to deliver training i.e. AGC's Project Manager Development Course. Our Employee Onboarding program is designed to connect evert new Procore teammate to the company, the people and the industry. The program has been anchored on our award winning, week-long new hire Orientation and continues to expand with the mission of delivering a unified global onboarding experience to every single new Procorian. Our New Hire Orientation is delivered to cohorts of new hires in a classroom setting (historically at our headquarters in CA, but more recently via Zoom). In Orientation, folks learn about Procore's Mission, Vision & Values, the company story/history & culture, company strategy, leadership philosophies, company structure including intros to key departments & systems. Orientation includes 14 hours of Construction specific learning where new hires are introduced to Construction Management including key players, phases, key processes, and the Procore platform. Having grownup housing insecure myself, I know that having stable, safe, affordable housing provides a of freedom peace of mind. We were both taught by role models in our childhood that Real Estate was a way toward freedom, that had the power to also help other humans along the way. From there, it was locked in our minds that we had futures in real estate.
