Was assigned to take on the "Inside Sales" department as part of the Project Management team. Integrated both Project Managers and Customer Service Specialists with roles & responsibilities clearly defined. With this new structure, I am responsible to lead and manage a team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Project Support Specialists. Scope covers : Involvement in the tender process on critical tenders, contract review (award), sales order processing and managing the effective execution of the project/contracts/orders; which includes invoicing and payment. Our primary interface (internal) would be with all cross functions as well as with customers direct (external). We continue to represent the company to be the single point of contact with end user (customers) ensuring that we meet the project deliverable (Safety, Quality, Cost, schedule) as defined by the customer/contract. We are responsible for the effective management and delivery of equipment as defined by customers’ order with respect to safety, quality, cost and schedule of the project. Aside from managing projects, my team and I also work on cross functions process improvement initiatives through the Lean six sigma methodology. Aligning our process and procedure with Global and Plant Quality Management System.I am also responsible to ensure that Best practices and lessons learnt within Middle East Asia are shared across the SURFACE segment. If new Global/Local Work Instructions need to be developed, I would take the lead in the discussions, aligning all the 3 regions together and releasing of the Procedures into the sharepoint. Show less I lead a team of Project Managers to execute the assigned Projects that are within scope, on time and within the budget without compromising Quality. Project scope starts from Tender stage, execution and covers till project is finally closed. Internal involvement includes liaising with cross function departments on related activities to the project: for eg; engineering, procurement, planning, manufacturing as well as shipping to ensure delivery commitment is met. External involvement includes being the single point of contact to customer. Department KPI includes: Financial reporting/analysis, On Time Delivery and customer satisfaction Show less
