  As a dedicated project leader in NASA's Bioscape domain, I played a pivotal role in spearheading an initiative focused on the analysis of remote sensing data to reveal insights into South Africa's biodiversity. My primary responsibility was leading a dynamic team while actively contributing to the project through in-depth information search. Our team excelled in identifying, mapping, and monitoring biodiversity hotspots, leveraging advanced AI, machine learning, and computer vision technologies. The development of the web application, including the transformation of data into thermal infrared spectroscopy using Python, OpenCV, and innovative color map filters like HSV and HOT, was managed by other team members.In line with our commitment to a user-centric experience, I ensured the creation of intuitive prototypes through Figma and Canva. Our proactive approach included the regular distribution of informative emails to users, featuring insights into biodiversity threats and research findings. Additionally, I led the establishment of an impactful online shop that directed all proceeds to environmental organizations, reflecting my dedication to environmental conservation and leadership in information search within this meaningful project.
