      Jul 2007 - Jul 2017

This school was renamed Sanford Brown College shortly before it shut down.I coordinated a team of 8 instructors and an average of 130 students.• Achieved a streamlined class schedule that required fewer class sections overall (~20% fewer class sections compared to the other programs of similar size).• Expanded the student tools by creating an augmented reality sandbox that allowed users to import the layout of the sand into game engines like Unity• Generated interest for the school by working with the IGDA and Sanford Brown College to host a site for the Global Game Jam from 2010 until 2017• Optimized Game Production’s two computer labs and spearheaded two different major upgrades. The second upgrade involved personally building 25 computers for one of the labs using a budget of ~$40,000• Expanded the tools available to students by transitioning to the Unity Game engine using a budget of ~$15,000. This was a long-term project that took approximately 18 months to successfully complete• Restructured the game production student body into cohorts of ~20-30 students, with a focus on similar availability and pace in the program, to create stronger groups that would help each other stay in school and achieve success. It allowed for higher retention rates and better planning of future classes Show less
