During my full-time internship period in the Central Manufacturing team of the company, I had the opportunity to be involved in global projects covering several manufacturing steps, implementing World Class Manufacturing (WCM)* methodology from design to assembly, focusing on feasibility and cost reduction.Highlights and achievements:- Worked on the global hardware reduction project in assembly plants, analyzing the possible reductions in the types of hardware used during the assembly of tractors with more than 10000 part numbers. Found 10+ potential cases, which could be eliminated from part number lists globally, saving time and cost in the long term.- Performed feasibility analysis on the assembly of the first Methane tractor in the world with the help of Siemens Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software Teamcenter®, and VisMockUp.- Made a tutorial about team scheduling and resource planning tools for the management team, "Harvest" and "Forecast", based on the ongoing projects in the Central Manufacturing team.* World Class Manufacturing (WCM) is a structured, rigorous, and integrated production methodology adopted at FCA plants worldwide, which involves the entire organization, from safety to environment, maintenance, logistics, and quality.
