      -Selected to serve as the second-in-command of 450 enlisted Marines and Sailors distributed across 13 subordinate sections and over 25 military occupational specialties-Single-handedly planned a 7-day training exercise to increase the combat readiness of over 150 Marines from various sections. Coordinated the maintenance status and material readiness of all vehicles, radios, and weapon systems to execute the safe and successful expenditure of over 20,000 rounds without incident or mishap-Responsible to manage the operational requirements of all subordinate capabilities. Coordinate with leadership from motor transport, communication, supply, armory, and other necessary sections to provide continuous support both internal to the battalion and external to the division-Serve as the unit’s armory officer – responsible for the weekly accountability of over 1,000 serialized pieces of equipment and the timely procurement and ordering of replacement parts when necessary-Supervise the physical training programs of all 13 subordinate sections. On a rotating basis, participate in morning PT sessions with subordinate sections to ensure the effective implementation of challenging but responsible training plans to enable combat fitness-As the senior lieutenant in the company, provide essential administrative oversight to peers and newly joined officers to ensure the smooth continued operation of the entire unit-Served as a lead contributor the unit’s awards program – revising and rewriting award citations to ensure the timely and public military recognition of over 50 Marines prior to military separation or execution of transitory orders-Served as 1st Tank Battalion’s representative on a strategic mobility exercise to Guam, providing tank specific ship-to-shore planning and staging considerations to colonels, generals, and senior civilian leadership Show less -Served as the second-in-command of a tank company consisting of 75 enlisted Marines and Sailors -Serve as the Company’s Maintenance Officer. Responsible for the maintenance status of 14 M1A1 tanks, 5 armored wheeled vehicles, all radio equipment, and upwards of 100 personal and crew-served weapons systems valued at over $50 million USD-Conduct daily and weekly audits on the maintenance status of all assigned serialized equipment. -Submit requisition audits and brief senior leadership on daily maintenance status of all assigned vehicles as it pertains to the successful execution of mission requirements-Oversee and supervise bi-annual tank maintenance cycles. Proactively plan ahead to identify a gap in training requirements to schedule two deliberate weeks solely dedicated to maintenance. Oversee the successful execution of all required first and second echelon maintenance on gas turbine engines, hydraulic systems, and fire control systems to facilitate six additional months of high operational tempo training until the next maintenance cycle-Develop a 12-month training plan to maintain appropriate deployment qualifications at both the platoon and company level.       -Responsible for the mentorship, career progression, and character development of over 100 commissioned officers in both the Navy and United States Marine Corps -Personally supervise the physical training and military aptitude of 40+ Marine Option midshipman, ensuring adequate preparation to succeed at Officer Candidate School -Personally attend and lead out over 500 hours of physical training -Serve as the lead instructor for two university accredited courses: Fundamentals of Maneuver Warfare and Evolution of Warfare. Built out over 30 lesson plans for each course and personally led over 300 hours of classroom instruction and practical application. -Serve as the unit’s Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) officer.
