      Project management for results (PM4R) trainer and mentor – Worked with 42 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and government in the Eastern Caribbean, Guyana, Suriname, Barbados, Belize, Brasil, Bahamas, Colombia, Bolivia, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama and Venezuela to build their project management capacity using the IDB model of project management. The training consists of 8 week synchronous (same time) and asynchronous (flexible time) course tailored for English speaking CSOs. Capacity building of CSOs – I put together and work through training project management materials to build the capacity of CSOs. In 2016 I presented 18 sessions on monitoring and evaluation, risk management and result based management for groups of up to 30 individuals.I also created 2 full course materials for training on project management tools to be used in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) by the IDB. The purpose of this United States Department of Labor (USDOL) grant is to improve the capacity of civil society to better understand and address child labor and/or forced labor abuses and promote acceptable conditions of work in artisanal and small-scale mining in Colombia. I'm responsible for the overall management and operations of the project ensuring that it meets with the stated goals. I also take a leadership role in coordination and relationship-building among USDOL and key stakeholders and other implementing partners. We used the collective impact approach to work with Civil Society Organizations. Show less

      Campos de Esperanza and EQUAL (Access to equal access to quality jobs for adult and adolescent women in agriculture in Mexico) are two projects funded by the United States Department of Labor. CDE main goal is to reduce child labor in migrant agricultural communities and strengthening government systems to address the program and embedding best practices that will indirectly lower overall levels of child labor throughout Mexico. This includes the informal (family farming) and the formal sector. EQUAL on the other hand, aims to create a scalable model ofservice delivery that reaches the most vulnerable, specifically women, adults and adolescents, in remote communities who work in the sugarcane and coffee sectors.
