      Established in 1970, the Roxbury Land Trust is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the community's rural character for generations to come. Over 3,400 acres are conserved as open space under the Trust's stewardship.I loved being a part of this group, mostly because of the fact that I could directly see the benefit of the work the Trust does just by driving around, hiking a trial, or stopping to admire a beautiful vista. I served on the Board of Directors for the Roxbury Land Trust from 2005 to 2018. I was also a member of the Development Committee and, the Land Preservations Committee. Show less
