  hyQ Academy is a nonprofit enterprise created to help ensure students from all walks of life are empowered by a high quality education that includes a strong Growth Mindset foundation based on Creativity Focused Learning (CFL). CFL is a novel pedagogical process that involves using our proprietary Divergent Thinking exercises to help students think more imaginatively. Combining our Divergent Thinking exercises with an Inquiry Based Learning strategy in the classroom yields enhanced benefits, and adding a project based Experiential Learning component to the combination drives even more benefits. Our ultimate goal is to empower every child in the nation by making CFL widely available.Towards this end, we will reach out and partner with school districts interested in enhancing their outcomes by helping each of them assemble and manage a curriculum committee that develops their curriculum packages for each subject and grade (K-12). In addition, we will reach out and partner with businesses that depend on highly educated/skilled employees by helping them set up and run cooperative apprenticeship programs to seamlessly prepare all incoming recruits for their new jobs. We plan to initially focus on STEM area careers, particularly engineering and computing.As the Director of Brand Management, I am responsible developing and executing the branding strategy for hyQ Academy. Combining my formal education in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with my lifelong interest in art helps give me a unique perspective and adds a subtle level of sophistication to my work. Towards this end, I oversee the creation and maintenance of the visual and message content in all relevant hyQ Academy documentation, including both hard copy and on-line versions.
