Involved in the Treasury investigation of Defence budgeting, coordinated the revenue section of Budget Paper 2 for the 2001 budget, and developed the first forecasting model for GST revenue.

Consulted to ASEAN on a World Bank project about financing, spoke about farm subsidies in Washington DC, and gave a short course on trade economics in Jakarta.
