A unified cost allocation system is one of the key building blocks to getting us there. The system serves as the basis for key regulatory reporting that have associated fines and audit risks attached to them; it employs analytics involving product performance, market expansion, internalization efforts, delivery system planning, practice patterns, and cost/benefit of new technologies/procedures all involve utilizing true operational unit costs. Multiple projects involved translating business requirements into deployable tools.1st Rotation: Digital Corporate Services and Solutions - Shared Analytics-Performed proof-of-concept testing for the adoption of the Waterline data management tool and its use within Kaiser Permanente.-Developed a new Shared Analytics SharePoint site, including direct needs analysis with outside vendors to facilitate internal development.2nd Rotation: Cloud Application Services - Application Lifecycle Management-Developed a new, automated reporting tool that gathered monthly Rational Team Concert metrics to be delivered to management. The program succeeded in reducing delivery time from 1 workday into a 30-minute background process.-Developed streamlined password file encryption/decryption procedure and automated email notification service with detailed error log system to identify any errors with program execution.3rd Rotation: Technology Risk Office - Cyber Security Engagements-Led the effort to reduce bugs in aging security assessments to maintain HIPAA compliance.-Implemented a process change for initial security risk evaluation of numerous external and internal products looking to integrate with Kaiser Permanente systems.
