Meydan has enjoyed a steady rise in popularity amongst the Techie community of Jordan at launch in 2010. This was heavily influenced by many factor one to do with the community coming to a tipping point by its own and wanted a destination, secondly Meydan was one of the first Y-combinator models to be implemented in the region, which made it an immediate destination. Rise of popularity was also influenced by an online media campaign that was implemented by my team. Even though there was little content but the hyper media of short movies helped communicate well.During my time there it has taken 2 batches of idea stage startups.
