  In my current role at the College of the Florida Keys, I oversee the Learning Resource Center (LRC), distance learning, the Project ACCESS program, and our learning management system (Canvas). Project ACCESS (Accessing Community College Educational experiences, Social experiences, and Skills for careers) is designed for students with intellectual disabilities. Through this program we help Project ACCESS students develop social, independent living, and career skills with the goal of securing employment after college. Although my position is multifaceted the connecting piece is student success. All of the programs and services I manage are meant to provide students with the resources they need to succeed inside and outside of the classroom.
