      - Built, tested, and wrote documentation for the flight instrument emulator used to test flight avionics for MOXIE, a Mars 2020 Rover instrument payload.- Built Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) used to simulate a critical subsystem for the Mars 2020 Rover Descent Stage.- Assisted in building and testing Mars 2020 Cruise Stage EGSE used to configure, monitor, and control propulsion subsystem.- Conducted tests to identify any degradation in MOXIE prototype due to a system configuration change.- Responsible for test procedure, test readiness review, testing, and data reduction for suite of flight-like MOXIE gas sensor hardware calibration tests.- Conducted leak tests on the MOXIE test bed system, compiled and analyzed test data, refined results for PowerPoint presentations, and distributed information to stakeholders to determine the constraints for the next tests.- Assembled data acquisition components and assisted in writing the test procedure for testing sample container hermetic seal integrity for a future Mars Orbiter.- Created circuit data sheets to provide information on the end-to-end connections for the components of the system which were used to verify and troubleshoot electronics assemblies and interfaces. Principal Electromechanical Engineer

      - As the Responsible Design Engineer led a team of multiple engineering disciplines to successfully complete a new actuator's first internal design review (IDR) under a compressed schedule. Completed stress and torque margin analyses for this actuator to facilitate the IDR. - Led a core team of 2 senior analysts, coordinated peer reviews, tracked headcounts for weekly flow-ups, and sought additional support from subject matter experts to successfully capture department knowledge for the analysis of mechanisms and deployables in a released process document.- As the Lead Analyst managed resources, outlined tasks, and maintained a schedule to ensure that all relevant analyses were completed to support drawing releases, a preliminary reuse review, and production plans for a family of actuators.- Designed, analyzed, coordinated procurement of materials and fabrication of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE), and wrote the test procedure for a proof load test of a critical 3D printed titanium component. Led a team of 10 people of varying disciplines to a successful completion of the test.- Completed stress analyses for a suite of newly designed actuators that enabled an on schedule IDR with the customer.- Designed multiple test fixtures accounting for GD&T principles that were used to support and move fragile components as part of a team focused on research and development (R&D) of a new assembly process for power generation systems. Worked with vendors and subject matter experts to design and set requirements for the purchase of mission critical equipment worth half a million dollars that we successfully integrated throughout all stages of the newly created assembly process.
