      I am currently working at the Potash Corp West Expansion Project taking part in the construction of a brand new processing facility that processes potash. Potash, phosphate and nitrogen products help provide the primary nutrients that crops need. They are also used to make livestock feeds and industrial goods.Duties:- Inspections of all piping systems and verify that these piping systems have been constructed to meet customer specifications and code (B31.3).- Review and implementation of procedures- Preparing documentation for pneumatic, hydrostatic, and service testing- Witnessing all testing performed on piping systems to make sure strict procedures and safety rules are adhered to.- Setting up appointments with TSASK (authorized inspector) to review the installation of all vessels and obtaining permits to operate.- Inspection of piping butt weld joints, socket welds, etc.- Notifying TSASK of testing on any registered systems.- Performing final walk downs of partial or full piping systems with the client.- Scheduling NDE to perform radiography, Mag particle, and liquid penetrant inspections Show less
