      I have worked at the South Beauty Group as the Assistant Marketing Manager and my main achievements including develop the promotion plan nationally and lead on planning and delivery of marketing/PR campaign and events, stakeholder and partnership development at both strategic and operation level. Main achievements including lead on the strategic partnership development between the South Beauty Group and KLM/AirFrance in 2006. Including attending business negotiation meetings, leading the core working group including finance, law and production experts in contract, timeline management and project delivery. This strategic cooperation has successfully brought the South Beauty Group’s products and brands to be on board with KLM/AirFrance aircrafts both inbound and outbound from China, which could reach 3 million target audiences through the 2 years cooperation for free.       Purpose of Job: To manage the implementation and quality control of regional large scale projects and agreed local projects by working with partners, stakeholders and wider target audiences in China and the UK to meet the British Council’s strategic objectives.To promote and market UK TVET as a partner of choice in China. Build the UK TVET brand through market research, generating reports and analyse market trends, design and supports various campaigns and events, work with PR companies and online/offline medias to targeted audiences including B2B and B2C.The core responsibilities are:- Scope, design, deliver and evaluate high quality programmes/ projects- Design and deliver the Marketing Strategy to reach the target ROI- Work with Business Partnerships colleagues to ensure income targets are achieved and collaborations with commercial partners are built into projects- Contribute to realistic and well researched regional project policies/plans to enable British Council to achieve its corporate goals. Analyse information, keep up-to-date on relevant trends in the UK and China- Build and maintain British Council’s network in China in agreed working areas, contributing to sector development- Plan and manage allocated budgets, income and expenditure- Pursue professional development in Education sector Key Relationships:Internal: project managers, global/region Marcom team, sector leads, counterparts in the UKExternal: Customers / clients / partners / stakeholders Show less My main responsibilities including take national lead on several large scale programmes management including Darwin Now in 2009 and Shanghai Expo Climate Change programme in 2010.I have successfully led the China team in Darwin Now programme to successful deliver the projects in Xi’an, Chongqing, Shanghai, Dongguan, Beijing and Tianjin and doubled the planed target in 2009. Around 110 exhibitions, lectures, scientist dialogues, movie shows and science drama shows have been effectively delivered by the team around the countries within the year. A 7 episodes documentary about Charles Darwin has been jointly produced by CCTV-10 and the British Council which was the very first documentary about Charles Darwin in Chinese. At the same time, the commercial income target has been exceeded in China. Long-term relationships have been well developed with key partners including the China National Science Museum, China Science and Technology Association and media partner CCTV-10 science and technology channel.I have also led the international team on developing and delivering the Shanghai Expo Climate Change Media Symposium to liaise with 20 countries British Council offices at different levels. Successful leading and managing the daily communication with the global team to deliver the programme at both national and international levels. Around 50 key global media journalists and scientists have been invited to the 3 days event including BBC, the Guardian, NBC and Xinhua News etc. This event has been recognised as one of the yearly highlights organised by the British Council in Shanghai Expo. Show less My main role include support the Assistant Director of Sports and Sciences and Beijing Area Director on the development of Young Advocates Programme during Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2008 and received rating 1 (top 5%) performance evaluation in FY 2008/2009 and temporary promotion in FY 2009/2010.Main responsiblities and achievements including supporting the AD to develop the programme at strategic level and take the national team lead among 5 offices in China. Since the national team was all partially allocated in the YAP programme, so my main challenges were planning and allocating the limited resources to deliver this large scale programme effectively around the country. Key partnerships have been established and well maintained at national and local level with the China Disabled Persons’ Federation and Beijing Organising Committee for the Olympic Games, London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games, commercial business partner B&B and the FCO. More than 50 trainings and events have been successfully delivered nationally including one international events invited 200 participates from 6 countries. I have also managed the national budget (500K annual) together with AD at a regular base to monitor and evaluate the outcomes to be successfully reached. Show less
