  MLWD Field Engineer

  Responsibilities: Pre-job planning, MLWD Equipment inventory and Mobilization Rig-up, test surface and down-hole M/LWD equipment on rig site prior to BHA pick up. Setup, monitor and maintain accurate depth tracking system for FEWD. Provide Real-time/Recorded Directional and Formation Evaluation data using Sperry Sun Directional, Gamma, Resistivity, Neutron density, Porosity and Pressure While Drilling tools. Work directly with the directional driller by providing accurate survey for well steering. Excellent understanding of the Geopilot at bit inclination and at bit gamma for both formation evaluation and geosteering purposes in target reservoirs. Take the lead to ensure all data presented to the client is accurate, timely and meet the highest quality standard Interface with the directional driller to ensure BHA compatibility, planned operating parameters are within specification and correct toolface references are applied. Participate in performance improvement initiatives as required by the company Assembly of positive pulser for telemetry in P4M system Preparation of M/LWD paperwork, logs, surveys and post job reports  Ensure that all work carried out are in accordance with safety standards Show less
