  Thesis: 'Studies in magnetic systems with geometric frustration: simulations and experiments'.Advisor: Rodolfo A. Borzi.Place: Physics of Liquids and Biological Systems Institute (IFLYSIB), CONICET-UNLP.• I'm tackling how deformations affects the dynamic and termodynamic of the spin ice, which is an example of frustrated magnetic system (Condensed Matter Physics).• I have developed simulation software (Monte Carlo simulation), mainly in Fortran, to simulate and contrast several models.• I have developed libraries in Python (using also Dash, Docker, Microsoft Azure) for data analysis and data visualization (e.g. see links below).• I have made low temperature experiments here in Argentina and in the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids (MPI-CPfS) on Dresden, Germany. • I have developed several routines in LabVIEW to control the operation and data acquisition of the lab equipment.• So far we have presented our research findings with 4 peer-reviewed publications in international academic journals and at 6 international and domestic scientific conferences.   Collaborating PhD student

  As part of a larger collaboration, I was twice at the MPI-CPfS, two months each time, in order to investigate the low temperature susceptibility in the spin ice materials Dy₂Ti₂O₇ and Ho₂Ti₂O₇ under uniaxial pressure.The performed experiments were not part of a standard procedure and therefore it was required a lot of development to achieve the desired experimental conditions.
