  I believe we all have the innate capacity for growth and change, and sometimes we need help to do so. Entering therapy is a significant step, and I am honored to work with people who have decided to begin their path toward healing. I work with adults, teenagers, and couples who are dealing with trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief, and developmental crises. Using a strengths-based approach, together we will explore difficult thoughts, emotions, and behaviors from a non-judgmental perspective and chart new fulfilling paths.My approach starts from the foundation of a caring and supportive relationship. I work with you to establish your goals for therapy and determine what approach fits best. I take a trauma-informed approach and I often utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My approach is also informed by other well-established clinical theories, including DBT, CBT, Attachment Theory, and Polyvagal Theory.I earned my Master of Arts degree in clinical mental health counseling from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. I am licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been trained in EMDR and IFS. As a clinical intern, I helped children, teenagers, and adults with grief, depression, anxiety, relationship distress, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, and self-harming behaviors.
