      I am accountable for the use of legislative powers to recognise qualifications which lead to professional registration. This senior management role liaises with the Executive Team and Council/Committees to formulate education strategy and functional business plans to fulfil this statutory duty. I also influence key health and education sector stakeholders at senior levels across the UK, including workforce / professional education leads and academic deans across the education sector.Recent achievements:-Successfully maintained Professional Standards Authority standards in area of education whilst in post. -Restructured function and introduced improvement programme leading to cost savings of £200k.- Formulated and consulted on strategy to transform delivery of education function by September 2021. Pilot work commenced in July 2020 to test new quality assurance model. Achieved interim cost savings of 80k through scaling back existing operations during work programme delivery. -Shared business services for MS Dynamics support across traditional functional silos, better utilising annual investment of 100k and effectively mitigating previous system risks. -Introduced virtual delivery of operations during C-19 pandemic enabling statutory function to continue operation. New normal delivery model will provide permanent annual saving of 100k.-Maintained high levels of stakeholder engagement to support transformation activities and C-19 related education sector challenges. Positive feedback received by senior stakeholders as a result. -Formulated proposals to establish C-19 temporary registers, leading cross-organisation working group to develop business case. Approval secured and registers established in March 2020. -Developed strategy and closure proposals following pandemic peak for student and former registrant temporary registration arrangements. Agreement reached with stakeholders to close student register in September 2020. Show less Reporting to the Director of Education, led the operational team delivering quality assurance of training programmes for this UK wide health and care professional regulator.Key achievement/projects: -Developed operational approach to quality assurance of apprenticeship training programmes in England. -Led business requirements gathering to support replacement of internal systems and processes and gained business case approval for systems build. -Acted as project sponsor to successful Dynamics CRM / SharePoint system implementation in 2015. -Worked with paramedic educators to agree programme closures to support transition to degree only entry. -Successfully transitioned new professions including social workers in England into HCPC education quality assurance model, systems and processes.
