      -Responsible for designing stamped parts, Front-end closures/ Class A, brackets, reinforcements and hinge mechanisms from design concept through ok to buy.-Responsible for meeting functional and regulatory requirements, weight, cost and tooling targets for specific commodities.-Responsible for managing and meeting weight, piece cost and tooling investments targets of the assigned components through the development of a program. -Responsible for the packaging and attachment scheme of sheet metal components. -Responsible to choose proper coatings to avoid corrosion in the assigned sheet metal components.-Responsible for providing solutions and design actions in order to drive cost/ weight targets down and efficiently. Plant complexity reduction and modularity.-Comply with Vehicle engineering targets such as NVH, Thermal, Aero Management, Ergo, among others as well as FMVSS, Safety and Pedestrian Protection.-Comply with Regulations depending on export markets and Homologation.-Comply with Program Timing-GPDS and deliverables of each milestone.-DFMEA.-DVP&R.-Root cause analysis.-Problem-solving.-Define special and critical characteristics of a product - SCCAFs.-Assure compliance of PPAP and Quality. -Responsible for providing interim and permanent corrective actions for issues during launch, always looking for the best alternative cost and engineering-wise.-Currently assigned to EV programs.
