  My stint at HDFC Bank (Infrastructure Finance Group) involved prospecting customers for Working Capital Facilities (OD/CC, BG, LC, Bills Discounting, Trade Advance/Inventory Funding) alongwith Credit management which primarily included Credit Assessment Memos (Proposal/Case) preparation and timely renewal, obtaining and deciphering stock statements, quarterly results and insurance, obtaining and closing deferrals, plant and site visits followed by preparation of call memos.I also handled TOD management by helping my clientele get TOD approval and also monitored the conduct of the accounts post disbursement.Other aspects of this job required me to manage pre-disbursement documentation and scope new clients as well as increase product penetration in the existing relationship which in turn led to enhanced value of Customer Relationship.   At Maersk GSC (OTC-Credit Evaluation) I assisted the Cluster Senior Management (mainly Germany and Austria teams; also, temporarily assisted Brazil and Portugal teams) with adhoc credit evaluation, monthly credit renewal, credit revoke process, and finalization of credit terms.Here, I handled Risk Assessment using third party intelligence (Credit Reports) as well as following the internal Credit Models. This job required me to conduct monthly reviews on credit limit exposure for Key customers, liaise with in-country Coordinator and Sales Team for additional information/support, monitor daily emails and ensure these are either responded to or forwarded to the correct department/escalation point in a timely and accurate manner, ensure all credit reviews are completed prior to credit expiration and ensure Zero Risk for audit findings as a result of expired credit terms being continued.Being a Credit Analyst, I was the communication interlink between Center Working Capital Team, Collections and Sales Team and had to ensure that credit approval process is aligned with Global Authority Matrix. In addition, I also had to provide timely and appropriate feedback to Customers and organization Stakeholders.This process also involved preparing SOP in line with global blue prints and processes to serve as reference material. I initiated monthly Engagement calls with Stakeholders for process and performance updates which ultimately resulted in a successful migration of Germany Cluster's Credit Process to the Pune GSC.
