      Nov 2012 - Mar 2020
      Programme Manager

The main purpose of this job is to assist the Programme Director and National team with the design and delivery of an Ambulatory Emergency Care (AEC) Programme across NHS England and beyond. This means providing support to deliver two objectives which are; developing and implementing an improvement plan to support over 100 NHS health communities to implement ambulatory emergency care. Whilst also providing full administrative and events management support to the programme team. Working with colleagues across all participating sites and liaising with representatives from the Department of Health, NHS England, NHS Improvement and Royal Colleges on behalf of the Programme Director and National Team. The function of this role is to support project teams to make ambulatory emergency care mainstream across the NHS. Thereby, converting admitted pathways to same day care. In essence this means supporting the programme Director to ensure all Network partners are fully supported to effectively implement and improve AEC services within their own organisational setting. In achieving this aim, there is a need to work at a local level with key stakeholders in the health and wider community, and liaise with key stakeholders at a National level and beyond. Show less
