      Selected Contributions and Achievements-  Developed a statistical process control deployment strategy and system, for 3 Wafer Fab’s managed it’s deployment for 1200+ people, in 3 locations, one being in Japan.  Characterized and optimized numerous complex processes, by determining the process sensitivities and drivers, aligning customer product performance requirements with process capability and developed metric systems to monitor performance. Developed the methodologies/qualification criteria (based on VOC/CTQ’s) used to qualify a new Wafer Fab, coordinated these activities with management, process engineering, and customer quality engineering in order to facilitate smooth customer qualification. Lead an engineering pre-start (NPI) Lean Sigma cycle time reduction team (Corporate Hoshin Goal driven), resulting in a decrease of 295% cycle time in one Fab, and 305% cycle time reduction in another fab. Recognized by senior management, for the outstanding effort. Contributed significantly to the development of an analytical method, analyzing multiple streams of process variation and allocating the variation back to it’s source. This lead to pro-active removal and maintenance of high variability equipment saving $3M yearly. Utilized DOE to characterize a new photolithography process for a new 6” wafer. Developed linkages between the metrics program and other quality programs, including Customer Loyalty.  Recognized by a SVP as having run the best metrics program he had seen. Given a special stock-option grant, cash bonus and achievement award. Spearheaded a project linking customer satisfaction to customer experienced quality to actual customer behavior. Tailored and deployed a Six-Sigma initiative; drove a $2.7M return, within the first year, and over $8M in three years. Subsequent years added over $10M of benefit. Drove a cross-functional executive Sigma team with six high-potential vice presidents in the development of a Customer Quality Bill of Rights.
