  Corporate Social Responsibility: Bata Children’s Program (BCP)- Promotion of quality education at schools through various projects including under Bata Children’s Program in line with global SDGs through infrastructure development, sports, computers, etc.During the internship trainee worked in the project of data collection from the government schools of Gurugram Haryana. Data collection was based on finding the status of school infrastructure and its existing problems due to which students are facing problems in getting basic infrastructure facilities in the schools which is somehow affecting their quality education. A need-based analysis is done to map the essential requirements of the schools on infrastructure upgradation and basic sanitation requirements. Show less

  Worked here as a social work trainee during my third and fourth semester of MSW course. Prayas provides me a great learning exposure by working with children under the Child Care Institution. It provides me an understanding of various social issues affecting children, such as child labour, poverty, and exploitation. The PRAYAS JAC provides the trainee a learning platform to acquire the knowledge and skills required to work with children who are facing various challenges and difficulties, such as mental health issues, abuse, neglect, and trauma. The trainee also has conducted case study and reading on the impact of social and economic factors on child well-being. The trainee has been involved in various activities related to child counselling and social work, such as conducting counselling sessions, preparing reports, and organizing creative activities for children in shelter homes.
