Led team members in ensuring all regulated and stewarded standards were being fully met.Coordinated off-set yield trials which included land contracts, montly observations, maintaining good land owner relationships and maintaining in-depth records of harvest data.Over saw the day to day activity associated with a Yield Testing Program. Developed plans and directed staff during seed handling tasks, resulting in reduced errors and increased productivity.Managed a vast yield trial inventory. Increasing efficiency in sorting and categorizing harvest samples inside warehouse.Managed bidding process for all capital procurements, major equipment and building upgrades.Implemented soybean crosses by working with Soybean Breeder at station. Develop innovative procedures and processes for efficient and safe seed sample processing and plant sample processing. Train researchers and farm staff in the efficient operation of equipment and facilities. Engage and create innovative working conditions by operating the facility in a way to create an atmosphere of innovation and collaboration. Conduct educational tours. Develop field books and record of all data collected: performance traits, disease resistance. Organize and lead the planting of nurseries and yield trials, and the hand harvesting of nurseries and combine harvesting of yield trials. Oversee and carry out preparation of seed for long-term cold storage. Maintain accurate records of seed stocks. Respond to requests for seeds by other universities/seed companies in USA and abroad.
