      Activities and Societies: Geology Club I started at Iowa State with 27 college credits earned during high school by taking dual credit honors courses. This allowed me to graduate in three years (plus summer field camp). During my senior year, I was the vice president of the Geology Club and helped to organize fundraisers, outreach events, and club activities. During my senior year, I was the vice president of the Geology Club and helped to organize fundraisers, outreach events, and club activities. Outreach programs included attending and presenting at "science night" events hosted at local elementary schools. We also led tours for school groups visiting the geology department on our campus. Fundraisers such as rock, mineral, and jewelry sales allowed us to take club trips to geologic points of interest, including the Lake of the Ozarks where we went on numerous cave tours and hikes. My involvement within the Geology department led to me being given the Outstanding Contribution award from the ISU Department of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences. Show less

Both remote and on-site services are available to provide clients with any level of service requested. We are focused primarily on the SCOOP and STACK areas of Oklahoma where our geologists have years of experience logging and steering wells in various formations, but service is available additional areas. Supervise and train wellsite geologists who analyze rock cuttings throughout the drilling process, maintain gas analysis equipment, create computerized logs containing geologic descriptions, gas information, and drilling information. Perform stratigraphic correlation with control wells and identify formation tops using drilling information and wireline log information. Communicate with geologists, company men, directional drillers and rig personnel on a daily basis.
