  As a student assistant, I was involved in the project PICS4All. This European project focuses on making integrated photonics more accessible for the commercial market. In this project, I supported the TU/e faculty group ITEM with monitoring the progress and effectivity of this project. We built a system that is used to track the project's progress and to provide feedback towards all stakeholders.

  In this project, we developed a planning tool that supports a more stable planning process and helps to synchronize material purchasing orders in the assemble to order environment of VDL Apparatenbouw. This planning tool overcomes several serious shortcomings of MRP by applying all relevant planning constraints to reduce the amount of rescheduling.
