  The Santa Monica location is the busiest spa in the USA. I held this role in the corporate office where all of my other positions were in the actual spa facility. I managed 150 employees, including estheticians, masseuses, concierges and office(behind the scenes) staff. In addition to creating and maintaining the schedules, I hired, trained, terminated and counseled new and existing staff. I also lead communication seminars to improve customer service and process improvement in the facility. I hired and trained an entire staff of 200 people including an 8 person management team, front desk, concierge, attendants and laundry staff. I oversaw the construction and interior design. Once created, I successfully oversaw all departments and managed the flow of the facility, continuing to make improvements based on corporate and guest feedback. I lead communication seminars to improve customer service and improvement in the facility. As General Manager, it was also my role to build strong relationships with surrounding businesses in order to expand our clientele and increase sales. I introduced “Team Building Experiences” where companies could hold meetings at the spa, creating a new way of reaching their team. I also led seminars at surrounding massage and beauty schools to set the tone of our expectations, should they seek employment with us after graduating.
