  Project : Tri-Zen : High rise (52 floors) project in Colombo, Sri Lanka consisting 3 towers-Structural modeling using ETABS (FEM) and structural design of concrete elements using BS codes. Australian codes were used to obtain the lateral loads.-Designing of water retaining concrete elements.-Designing of post tension beams using Prokon and Rapt.-Using ETABS model for global analysis of the building, checking the period of the building for mode types.-Using Excel for structural design of concrete elements from the results obtained from FEM model and manual calculations.-Manual calculation of key structural elements to verify the loads and the resultant stresses obtained from the FEM computer model. Prokon was also used for analysis of concrete elements for verification. -Preparation construction drawings using CAD. Checking drawings prepared by the draftsman and corrections.-Preparing bar bending schedule for transfer floor using the code BS 8666. -Checking shop drawings issued by the contractor with the structural drawings.-Preparing design reports to be produced to the client.Project : Building for TRCSL-Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka-Structural modeling using FEM software and structural design using Excel sheets and the FEM software. Loading was done according to BS 6399 Part 2.-Using CSI Col and ETABS to analyze and design encased steel columns which was used as the main columns in the building. -Using BS 5950 to obtain the relevant capacities of the steel beams (composite and normal) and steel deck and designing for the resultant stresses obtained from the FEM model.-Designing of steel connections using BS 5950. Project - Multipurpose Building for St. Bridget's Convent-Carrying out inspections of work carried out by the contractor and ensure the work is done according to the specifications, structural drawings and relevant standards.-Structural design of revisions and producing revised drawings to the contractor.
