I am one of its principle members of academic staff: responsible for improving the quality of student learning and ensuring student success.While my background is biochemistry, I have made real progress with the development of modules outside my niche. From organic chemistry to endocrinology, we have improved student attendance, engagement and grades through a focus on building skills rather than the usual factual bombardment seen in undergraduate courses.I am proud of the design and implementation of our new timetabling system, which has successfully improved college logistics in addition to ensuring resources are used efficiently.
