  Camp Counselor

  I have had the pleasure of working at Culver Summer Woodcraft Camp for the past several years. At Culver, I have direct supervision over 12 campers ages 8-12 years old. I am responsible for training my campers about the importance of leadership, honesty, and service to others. The camp is a 6 week program revolved around Military discipline with many fun aspects that a regular camp would have. I place a large focus on devoting my time to these campers and helping them grow both as people and as camp leaders. There is no greater joy than seeing a camper find a new passion for an activity or find out the person they want to be. Show less

Helped to conduct programmatic assessment, design and create Wellness Wednesday programs and events for students, staff and members of the DePaul community. Developed a mentoring program to be implemented by student organizations as well as created a Student Organization Leadership Training workshop for transitional leadership.

  - Develop and oversee the strategic initiatives and programs for the 1000-member fraternity and sorority community, as well as the four governing councils for fraternity and sorority life on the Lincoln Park and Loop campuses. - Oversee and supervise one full time FSL staff member and an undergraduate student specialist to support programming, education, and leadership within the fraternity and sorority life community.- Serve as a chapter coach and advocate for sixteen fraternities and sororities across PHC and MGC.- Serve as the team member with multiple campus partners inclusive of the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness and Dean of Students Office to provide support on risk management, harm prevention, community conduct, and leadership development. - Serve as the lead staff member at DePaul University for voter and civic engagement efforts. This includes supervising 2 Student Specialist employees, and chairing the Voter Engagement Working Group, which regularly collaborates with faculty, staff, and students around the university to promote civic engagement.- Supervise a Graduate Assistant and a leadership team of 28 students to program and host an annual 10 hour Dance Marathon engaging hundreds of students benefiting Lurie Children’s Hospital.
