  I have successfully completed my 3 months of summer internship in the Finance department as a Finance Trainee in the cluster property of Hilton & Hilton Garden Inn situated at Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park. •I worked with the AR ( Accounts Receivable ) team and got to know how the follow-up from the client is done and invoices from system are generated through OnQ as well as generating QR code on invoices through PwC software. The way through which billings & outstanding are settled and what are the uses of various reports such as AR Ageing Reports, Account details of debtors, trail balance and Credit Card balancing reports & their reconciliation. •In AP (Accounts Payables) I got to know how vendor codes are created through SUN APAC software and bills are booked through Birchstreet in the system and payments are made to the vendors. •Worked with Income & Cash Audit team in pulling out of various reports from DocMx & OnQ such as Room Balancing Summary, Collection throuhout the day, No show (if any) and House Account Balances at the end of every day.•Also got to know how purchase department work with the coordination of Finance Department and purchases of the materials as well as vendor payments are done.⁕Apart from the above key learnings I have also prepared a Capstone Report on the topic "A study on Financial Management of Hilton Hotels" in which I have explained some of the gaps as well as suggested some measures for these gaps and also highlighted my practical experiences and key learnings during this tenure.
