  Working on the Sustainable Communities Programme of the EU funded Rural Development Plan, my role is to engage local people in improving their quality of life - culturally, socially, environmentally and economically. Encouraging a community culture of enterprise, based on local people themselves, I support and enable people to harness their skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to help safeguard their future through a local integrated approach to sustainable development.
