  I co-founded The Alpine Legacy Group at Morgan Stanley with Financial Advisor Danielle Hogan, to allow me to work with clients who take a long-term view, and want a thoughtful, hands-on relationship with their financial advisor. Our team works primarily with individuals who are concerned with retirement, as well as pension funds and foundations who focus on long-term objectives and strategies. Over the years, I have developed three core beliefs about investing: 1) identify a desired return and invest with the appropriate level of risk in seeking to achieve that return, 2) maintain a diverse balance of asset classes, and 3) don't forget about costs.
