      Lois Frankel represents the 22nd district of Florida in the U.S. House of Representatives. As a fellow, I quickly learned the skills necessary to research and prospect potential contributors, keep track of and run an effective call time. I became familiar with databases such as NGP and Influence Explorer. I managed the entire campaign calendar, set, confirmed and staffed events, and actively reached out to community leaders to keep a working knowledge of community events.

I managed all call-time related email correspondence between Kelda and potential donors and helped streamline departmental donor research strategies for the purposes of maximizing candidate-potential donor contact. Within the first three weeks we increased call-time’s productivity as a percentage of overall fundraising by 15 percent (from 27% to 42%).

As a member of Saylor’s Permissions and Quality Assurance Team, I worked with a combination of Microsoft Word, Google Spreadsheets, and WordPress to map out and interpret copyright permissions of new and existing resources sent to us by Saylor’s content developers or already employed by one of Saylor.org’s 300+ offered courses. We then formatted usable resources to Saylor’s preferred templates and uploaded them to WordPress as a PDF to be hosted on Saylor’s website. Show less

Together, we laid out all of the critical processes that build and maintain Grow Progress's suite of analytical and message testing tools. We created our sprint process and focused our collaboration on agile methodology. Our sprint process has become the beating heart of development at Grow Progress and has helped the company pioneer in exciting new ways to conduct persuasion testing.
