My role finished with the successful sale of Tuatara to DB early 2017.Tuatara Brewery is one of NZ's largest independent craft breweries. Tuatara employs over 40 people and produces over 22 different craft beers and has enjoyed an annual growth rate in excess of 40% pa since 2011. Achievements:• Quickly stabilised a challenging situation following the abrupt and unsettling departure of the previous CE• Secured alignment of the management team and the wider company to a simple strategic objective• Changed the nature of communication with the Board leading to an improvement in the relationship between managment and the Board• Secured approval to a number of key decisions from the Board • Instrumental in preparing Tuatara for a successful sale that was attractive to the shareholders and better for the long-term future of the Company and its employees.
