      As a field engineer I was responsible for providing specialised wire-line logging services to oil exploration clients on their offshore drilling platforms in the North Sea delivering a highly technical and expensive service under intense pressure while managing a small team of specialists. The company provided initial 4 months of intensive training in oil and gas exploration and development and provided comprehensive ongoing training to develop fully trained geophysical engineers. I was trained in Parma Italy and then based in Ijmuiden Netherlands and Bergen Norway. Show less

      Upon the resignation of the CEO at the end of July 2016, I was recruited by the three shareholders assuming full CEO responsibilities. My role finished with the successful sale of Tuatara to DB early 2017.Tuatara Brewery is one of NZ's largest independent craft breweries. Tuatara employs over 40 people and produces over 22 different craft beers and has enjoyed an annual growth rate in excess of 40% pa since 2011. Achievements:• Quickly stabilised a challenging situation following the abrupt and unsettling departure of the previous CE• Secured alignment of the management team and the wider company to a simple strategic objective• Changed the nature of communication with the Board leading to an improvement in the relationship between managment and the Board• Secured approval to a number of key decisions from the Board • Instrumental in preparing Tuatara for a successful sale that was attractive to the shareholders and better for the long-term future of the Company and its employees.
