  It was an amazing experience in Fatima Memorial Hospital. It widened my knowledge and skills towards instrumentation & management. I made a lot of new friends and learned from them. I gained new skills in analyzing machine with logics.My experience was truly invaluable, the skills I learned on both instrumentation and SOP have helped me immensely. I am now confidently work in a Bio-Medical field with the guidance of mine mentors.In fact, this internship at FMH has taught me many things both academically and for my personal growth. I supervised a team of 3 people with overall responsibility for the maintenance, repair, calibration & installation of Biomedical Equipment.– Equipment Installation and Maintenance: I was assigned by the authorities to look after hospital equipment, installation, and maintenance for KMSMC (AIMH&GSBTH) and was appointed as a Focal person for Equipment Control and Inventory Management in AIMH– Procurement Procedure for the Institute: During my tenure, I was responsible for the procurement procedure for the KMSMC (AIMH&GSBTH).– Condemnation and Auction: I performed the below-mentioned duties for Condemnation and Auction: Performed assessment of reserved prices of vehicle and machinery of AIMH Assigned to perform Condemnation and Auction for AIMH & GSBTH as Biomedical Engineer.– Documentation and Communication: During my tenure in the said institute, I was member of different committees in various capacities.– Training and Development: As an on-duty Engineer, I conducted numerous training sessions: Conducted training program to educate Technicians and Staff Nurses, Medical Specialists on ‘Hemodialysis Product Application’, ‘handling ventilators for proper functioning’ & ‘Operating and maintaining ICU ventilators Bellavista 1000’ in AIMH & GSBTH.– Inspection done by PMDC Islamabad: I was appointed as a representative from Bio-Medical department to assist authorities from PMDC, Islamabad in their inspection on medical equipment in AIMH.
