      Project Title:Price Feature Value Analysis of the Office Printing SolutionsProject Brief:HP Inc. is the leader in office printing solution space and has product portfolio of A3 & A4 Multifunctions and Printers (Colour and Black & White) and Scanners. There was a need to identify top selling models of HP-OPS and its competitors and determine the premium that HP can charge over the competitors. Furthermore, for every segment, a strategy was developed either to capture or maintain market share. Through PFV Analysis, a model was developed to calculate Premium on models after considering cost, margin, market share & competitor pricing.Objectives:•To develop a model to calculate the premium that HP can charge on its models of OPS•To suggest strategies to maintain market share or to capture the markets in which HP is laggingDeliverables/ Recommendations:•Conducted primary research using questionnaires, focus group discussions, and unstructured interviews to understand customer preferences and consumer expectations of the desired specifications in printers and scanners•Conducted secondary research on the office print solutions industry and on the HP and its competitor models to formulate a baseline for efficient and consistent comparison•Identified the parameters over which the models would be evaluated and the value of each parameter•Forecasted the premium that HP Inc. can charge over its competitors with respect to the relative market share•Engineered the model to accommodate changes in the market or changes in parameters or pricing of the models •Generated One-stop central information sharing ecosystem for salesforce & for training of salesforce•Formulated the strategy of targeting specific markets or selling the products through bundled services (like managed print space, Kiosks, etc) or bundling high yield toners•Developed new product blueprint in A4 B&W Multifunction printer segment to be sent to Japan office for verification and production Show less
