Worked as an intern in conjunction with Grant Program Officers to ensure accurate and timely completion of project reports.

  As a North Carolina Licensed High School Social Studies Teacher at Beddingfield High School, taught approximately 80 students each semester in grades 9 through 12. The students instructed represented diverse racial and ethnic groups, socioeconomic statuses and academic ability levels.

  I worked with the Office of Professional Development and Student Outreach, as well as the Office of Teacher Education. In this role, I collaborated with university faculty and staff on a variety of projects related to public school students, undergraduate and graduate college students, and professional educators.

  I advise first and second year College of Education students. I act as the liaison and coordinator for Summer START students, New Student Orientation, Exploratory Studies. I manage the College's Change of Degree Application Review Process. I serve as an instructor for ED 100: Intro to Education. I develop academic and co-curricular programming for College of Education students, In Exploratory Studies, I worked with students one on one and in the classroom to ease their transition into higher education. I coordinated the curriculum for the program's courses, USC 101 and 102. I served on the University's Courses and Curricula Committee. I have previously served on the Council on the Status of Women.
